Several big names have sent messages to Liverpool forward Mohamed Salah ahead of his summer departure after nine years in the Premier League, including Jurgen Klopp

Jurgen Klopp has sent a heartfelt message to fellow Liverpool legend Mohamed Salah ahead of the Egyptian playing his final few games for the Reds.
Salah confirmed in March that he would be leaving at the end of the season. He limped off with a hamstring injury against Crystal Palace last weekend and won't play against Manchester United for one final time at Old Trafford, but he hasn't played for Liverpool for the last time just yet.
"Wow. Time flies. You leave with a smile on your face, and you leave loved by so many people," Klopp said in a video message for Sky Sports.

"The best thing you can do is to work hard and put everything in, so that when we meet in the future — in five, 10, 15, 20 years — we look back and share the best memories of our lives."
Salah's former club captain, Jordan Henderson, alongside whom he won the Premier League and the Champions League, was just as effusive.
"As time went on, his confidence grew," Henderson said. "Then what that does is create a culture where everyone starts to step up."

Leaving at the same time as Andy Robertson and with speculation about a possible exit for Alisson Becker, too, Liverpool could be set to lose a few big parts of the locker room this summer.
That leadership will need to be replaced, with Virgil van Dijk only under contract for one more season after this one. Salah, of course, was a big part of it.
"I think this is the proudest thing, to change the culture and everything around you," he said after watching the messages from Klopp, Henderson, and others around the Premier League.
"I spoke to a member of the backroom staff and also to guys up there. I told them, ‘When I leave, you need an example here.’

After taking on Manchester United, Liverpool finishes the season with fixtures against Chelsea, Aston Villa, and Brentford. Salah should play a part in at least one of them.
As things stand, he has yet to confirm his next destination. There have been links with Juventus and clubs in Turkiye this week, while there is a longstanding interest from Saudi Arabia.

Liverpool.com says: Salah is undoubtedly one of the best players in the Reds' history. While this season has not been his best in terms of numbers, trying to replace him will still be a very difficult test of what the future looks like at Anfield.
