Liverpool forward Mohamed Salah has dropped a huge hint that he could return from injury soon ahead of the game against Manchester United this weekend, despite fears that his time at the club was over. The Egyptian hobbled off during the Reds' win over Crystal Palace and there were doubts over whether or not he'd play again this season.
If he were to be ruled out for the remainder of the campaign, that would bring an abrupt end to his Liverpool career given he's already revealed he'll leave the club at the end of the season.
However, Salah has taken to social media and uploaded images of him in training ahead of the clash with Manchester United this weekend, while Arne Slot admitted his injury was just a minor one.

The Egyptian showed images of him out on the grass at the AXA Training Ground, hinting that his injury may not be as bad as first feared.

Slot kept his cards close to his chest regarding Salah's fitness, though did claim the forward would not be part of the matchday squad to face Manchester United.
The Reds boss said: "He is always working incredibly hard when he is injured to get back as soon as possible.
"Usually, he is back earlier than other players. He has a minor injury, and we expect and need him back for the final part of the season, but not for Sunday [vs Man Utd]."
Liverpool are also set to be without first-choice goalkeeper Alisson for the game at Old Trafford, with the Brazilian still recovering from injury.
"Ali hasn’t trained with us yet," Slot revealed. [He is] very close... I have to hear today from the medical staff if he is able to train today or tomorrow.
"Otherwise, the start of next week. He is very close, but of course, we don’t want to take any risks."
Liverpool take on Man United on Sunday, May 3 with kick-off at 3.30pm at Old Trafford. They then host Chelsea before travelling to Aston Villa and entertaining Brentford on the final day.
