All the latest Arsenal transfer news in one place, including updates on Julian Alvarez, Cesc Fabregas and Anthony Gordon.
Heinze to help Arsenal sign Alvarez?
Arsenal are tracking Julian Alvarez's every move, largely thanks to assistant manager Gabriel Heinze, La Nacion reports.
The Argentine, who has been part of Mikel Arteta's coaching staff since last summer, appears to be pushing for the Gunners to sign his compatriot from Atletico Madrid.
Arsenal have been compiling incredibly detailed reports on the striker, though this is common practice at big clubs these days. The outlet stresses that the reports on Alvarez have been overwhelmingly positive.
Still, Arsenal will have to contend with Atleti's transfer stance. The Spanish giants do not want to sell their star striker, and recent reports have suggested that he could cost as much as €150 million.
Fabregas to snub Chelsea?

Como head coach Cesc Fabregas does not appear to be keen on the vacant Chelsea job, according to Sky Sports reporter Kaveh Solhekol.
It has been suggested to him that Fabregas' long-term plan is to succeed Arteta at Arsenal. The Spaniard played for both the Gunners and Chelsea during his lengthy Premier League career.
"Cesc Fabregas, what I’ve been told, there’s some kind of suggestion that long-term, the plan for him is to manage Arsenal one day. I’m not sure moving to Chelsea would be part of his career progression," Solhekol said.
Gordon move likely
Fabrizio Romano has confirmed that Newcastle winger Anthony Gordon is likely to be on the move this summer.
The England international has been increasingly linked with a departure from St. James' Park amid strong interest from Arsenal, Bayern Munich and Chelsea. Newcastle appear resigned to losing him, though it has been suggested that he could cost as much as €92m.
"Another name to watch is Anthony Gordon. He has very serious chances of leaving Newcastle United in the summer transfer window," Romano says. "Much will depend on the price tag set by Newcastle. However, according to my information, there is a strong possibility that Gordon will leave."

Arsenal eye Yilmaz
Arsenal director Andrea Berta was impressed with Baris Alper Yilmaz's performance when he attended Galatasaray's match at the weekend, Sabah states.
Reports have suggested that he went to Istanbul to watch Victor Osimhen and Yilmaz, which has now seemingly been confirmed. It is claimed that the Italian is willing to look into a deal for the Turkey international this summer.
Galatasaray value Yilmaz at around €50m, with 20% of that fee owed to his former club Keciorengucu. They previously rejected €35m offers from Saudi Arabia for him. Arsenal's priority is to sign a left-winger like Yilmaz this summer.
