Jack Grealish is making headlines again, despite being ruled out for the rest of the season with a fractured foot. The England international was pictured completely asleep at a rooftop Manchester bar in images that quickly went viral on social media.
"Pals tried to wake him. The booze must have caught up with him," an onlooker said. It's not the first time the Everton loanee has been pictured in a compromising state after partying.
Grealish has always made sure to enjoy himself on nights out, both at home and abroad, while also putting in the work required to be a top-level footballer. However, not everyone sees it as a positive for professional athletes to be seen in these situations frequently.

One of the more infamous examples of Grealish partying came after Manchester City completed the treble in 2023, including a first-ever Champions League trophy. The wide man played a significant role for the Citizens, and didn't shy away during celebrations.
Former Manchester United and Tottenham star Teddy Sheringham was no stranger to being involved in heavy celebrations and nights out. The ex-England international even had to issue an apology to Three Lions manager Glenn Hoddle after being caught in a nightclub before a World Cup.

Jack Grealish's former Manchester City teammate has explained why he flopped at the Etihad.
He was also part of the infamous 'dentist’s chair' incident with international teammate Paul Gascoigne pre-Euro '96. Speaking in 2025, Sheringham claimed Grealish hadn't regained his full focus on the pitch since City's 2023 triumph. He said (per The Mirror)
"There have always been players over the years that worked okay and played hard and their football abilities fell off a cliff. Jack’s a little bit in that mould at the moment.
"They won the treble and he celebrated on that front and it doesn’t seem like he’s got back into his football mode yet. He needs to … otherwise his career might slip away."
"I used to work hard, play hard in my day but you still need to know when to play hard," he warned, pointing out that partying is alright as long as football remains the top priority.
The Premier League's oldest-ever goalscorer then admitted he fears Grealish's career could 'slip away'. He added: "He’s had a couple of injuries, I know he has, but it is amazing how easy it is for a football career to slip away."
Grealish Missing 2026 World Cup Through Injury
Jack Grealish
While Sheringham claimed Grealish should pick his moments better, the ex-Aston Villa man is currently sidelined with an injury that put to bed any hopes he had of playing at the 2026 World Cup. It was unlikely he would get into Thomas Tuchel's squad, but not impossible.
After leaving the Etihad in search of regular game time, the 30-year-old moved on loan to Everton. He started the season in brilliant form under David Moyes, looking back to his usual self. Racking up six assists and two goals in 20 games, Grealish's season ended in January, as he picked up a long-term injury against Aston Villa.
