April was a big month for us in our pursuit of more UEFA Women’s Champions League glory.
We began the month with a 1-0 defeat against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge in the quarter-finals, but won the tie 3-2 on aggregate, before beating Lyon 2-1 at home in the first leg of the semi-finals.
We also lost the quarter-final of the Adobe Women’s FA Cup 2-0 at home to Brighton & Hove Albion, and put seven past Leicester City without reply at Emirates Stadium to stay alive in the Barclays Women’s Super League title race.
These are the four players we’ve selected for April’s Player of the Month nominees. Cast your vote below!

Our shot-stopper was a crucial part of that quarter-final second leg at Chelsea, making four big saves to keep us ahead in the tie on aggregate.
The Dutch goalkeeper actually played 90 minutes of all four matches, going on to help us to a clean sheet in the big 7-0 win over Leicester.
