Manchester City talisman Erling Haaland is expected to return to the starting lineup when the Sky Blues do battle with Everton at the Hill Dickinson Stadium in Monday's Premier League fixture.
The Norway international was demoted to the bench for last weekend's FA Cup final with Southampton - as were many of his teammates - to allow Omar Marmoush a chance to spearhead the attack at Wembley Stadium.
Pep Guardiola's men reached the final with a narrow 2-1 victory over the Championship side, but Marmoush failed to cut the mustard during his 71 minutes on the field, so Haaland will be restored to the XI for the bank holiday battle.
After a four-game Premier League dry spell from February 21 to April 12, the 25-year-old has now scored in back-to-back matches against Arsenal and Burnley to move onto 24 for the season, but not since October has he found the net in three consecutive Premier League games.
Here, Sports Mole takes a closer look at Haaland's record against Everton ahead of Monday's fixture.

Since joining Manchester City from Borussia Dortmund in the summer of 2022, Haaland has faced Everton competitively just five times, with all of those encounters taking place in the Premier League.
Haaland has scored six goals across those five games and has fired Man City to victory on three of those occasions, drawing the other two with the Toffees.
In the 2022-23 campaign, Haaland's debut season in England, the striker scored both home and away against Everton as he went on to net a record-breaking 36 goals in just 35 Premier League matches - the most ever by a player in a single season in the division's history.
Haaland scored the opening goal with his weaker right foot in a 1-1 draw with the Toffees at the Etihad Stadium on New Year's Eve, before heading home the second goal in a 3-0 victory for the Citizens at Goodison Park just over five months later.
Across the 2023-24 and 2024-25 seasons, Haaland was absent for both of Man City's away matches with Everton due to injury, but be played the full 90 minutes in both home fixtures, netted two second-half goals in a 2-0 success for Pep Guardiola's side in February 2024, before drawing a blank in a 1-1 draw on Boxing Day of the same year.
Haaland's most recent appearance against Everton was in October 2025 when he scored a second-half brace to help City secure a 2-0 home victory.
