**Our young Gunners battled back to earn a point in a 1-1 draw against Leicester City in the U18 Premier League South.**
Birmark Owusu opened the scoring for the Foxes at LCFC Training Ground, before Andre Harriman-Annous nodded in to restore parity and share the rewards on the road.
WHAT HAPPENED
-------------
We got off to a slow start and were punished when Lorenz Hutchinson forced Jack Porter into a save that could only be parried into the path of Owusu, who was well placed to finish the rebound.
A response was found through clever play by Louis Zecevic John, who was alert to a quick free-kick that opened up space to chip a ball across the goal face for Harriman-Annous to head home and level ahead of the interval.
The second 45 offered little in the way of clear-cut chances until substitutes Bailey-Joseph and Kyran Thompson combined, the latter’s strike needing a superb block to deny us a late lead, as we ultimately settled for a point in Leicestershire.
WHAT’S NEXT
-----------
Our young Gunners continue their U18 Premier League South campaign when they travel to West Ham United on Tuesday, May 5.
Kick-off at Little Heath Sports Ground is at 12pm (UK time).
