Arsenal moved six points clear at the top of the Premier League after a devastating first half ensured a 3-0 win over Fulham this afternoon.
Viktor Gyokeres opened the scoring from a Bukayo Saka assist, before the Swedish striker returned the favour for Saka’s brilliant finish to make it 2-0. Gyokeres headed home a Leandro Trossard cross just before the break to make it 3-0, and from there the game was won.
With Atletico Madrid on Tuesday, the second half didn’t need to be as intense, and Mikel Arteta was able to make changes his team built confidence ahead of the crucial Champions League showdown.
