Ansu Fati was on target yet again for Monaco on Saturday in Ligue 1 to secure a comeback win for his side over Metz.
Monaco went behind early in the second half to a goal from Jessy Deminguet but managed to level through Folarin Balogun just after the hour mark.
Fati then sealed the winner in stoppage time after coming off the bench. The Barcelona loanee was picked out in the penalty area, took a touch and then rifled home a low shot.
His goal sealed all three points for Monaco and also relegated Metz to Ligue 2 with two games of the season still to play.
As for Fati, it’s his 10th Ligue 1 goal of the season and his 11th in all competitions for Monaco. That’s Fati’s best goalscoring return in his career so far, his previous best was 10 goals for Barcelona in the 2022-23 campaign.
