Goals from Teddie Lamb, Xavier Parker and a Kylan Midwood hat-trick gave the hosts all three points, despite consolation goals from Israel Green, Dantel Hodges and Captain Sean Corry.

The win for the City saw them clinching the league title.

**Key Moments**

---------------

City started the game on top, producing several chances to worry the Young Rams. The best of which came from Midwood, who found the bottom corner to open the scoring in the 19th minute.

Derby looked to build into the game just after the half-hour mark, though the hosts remained vigilant in their approach to prevent an equaliser.

Israel Green had perhaps the best chance of the game for the Rams, as his header from close range was denied by City goalkeeper Max Hudson in the 42nd minute.

Asher Taylor looked to create an opportunity to level before the interval, though his right-footed effort from the edge of the area missed the target.

Lamb found the bottom right corner to extend the lead for the hosts in the 58th minute, as Parker made it three just two minutes later.

Derby pulled a goal back from the penalty spot through Israel Green three minutes after the hour mark, firing into the bottom-left corner to keep ambitions alive.

The Rams’ hope was short-lived, as Midwood scored his second of the afternoon in the 67th minute to further extend the City’s lead.

Midwood was on target again just three minutes later, finding the target to net his third.

Hodges pulled a goal back in the 72nd minute, finding the top-left corner to make it 5-2, before Corry curled in a third, to give the Rams further hope.

But City held onto their advantage to secure the win and the league title.
