Paris Saint-Germain winger Bradley Barcola is being considered as a potential replacement for Liverpool legend Mo Salah, according to reports.
Writing for The Times, trusted journalist Paul Joyce named the Frenchman as being one of the players on the club’s “list” to strengthen the forward line this summer.
Barcola has scored 12 goals and provided 7 assists in 43 appearances this season, and he is a regular starter for PSG, having been in the first eleven for 12 of their 15 Champions League fixtures.

However, he was only on the bench for the quarter-final second leg against Liverpool, as well as the semi-final first leg versus Bayern earlier this week.
Is Barcola a realistic target?
The fact that the Reds are even considering a move for the 23-year-old does seem to suggest that they have been given some encouragement that he is available.
Barcola has a contract that expires in 2028, but talks over an extension have not progressed, so that could present an opportunity for the Merseyside club to try their luck.
Ultimately, a lot will depend on the player and whether he is open to joining Liverpool, even though he is getting plenty of minutes with his current team.
Are Liverpool looking at any alternatives?
Bayern Munich’s Michael Olise would have been the dream target. He is in outstanding form, as well as left-footed, making him the ideal candidate to replace Salah.
However, Bayern have made it clear that Barcola’s fellow countryman will not be leaving the Allianz Arena under any circumstances this summer.
Another Bundesliga player, Yan Diomande, is known to be on the Reds’ shortlist as well, and there are suggestions that the club may consider tabling a part-exchange offer to lower the cost of purchasing the Ivorian. His current valuation is said to be in the region of €100m (£87m).
