Live by the sword, die by the sword for Bayern Munich vs. PSG in Champions League

For part of its 5-4 victory in the first leg of its Champions League tie vs. Bayern Munich, Paris Saint-Germain shocked the Bavarians in a way that had not happened all season.

PSG was able to build a 5-2 lead by the 58th minute, before Bayern Munich shook off the cobwebs and stormed back to make if 5-4. The frenetic play had coaches, players, fans, and casual observers all raving about the game.

Surely, though, something has to change for the Bavarians to pull out a victory on aggregate and move on to the final, right?

According to Bayern Munich midfielder Joshua Kimmich, the Bavarians will not change their approach to this showdown.

“We’re not going to change our style of play in three days and just sit back and defend. We have to win, regardless of whether it’s another 5-4, a 3-2, or a 1-0 win. Of course in the long run, we will adjust a few things and analyze the situation. We’ve already discussed that,” Kimmich said (as captured by @iMiaSanMia).

It would be a shock if PSG changed much as well, so what does that mean?

Well, probably that fans everywhere should buckle up for another wild one.
