Chelsea's Premier League meeting with Nottingham Forest was delayed for over 10 minutes toward the end of the first half after a horror collision between Forest's Zach Abbott and Chelsea debutant Jesse Derry.

Both players were taken off the field as Chelsea and Forest used concussion substitutions, but it was Derry who was the worst-affected of the two players as he received treatment for a lengthy period of time before being taken off on a stretcher.

Sky Sports is the broadcaster of the game in the UK, and appeared to have decided against showing a replay of the unpleasant incident, before then showing one shortly before the game resumed.

At half-time, Sky Sports host David Jones said that the broadcaster had taken the decision not to show the incident again during the interval.
