Manchester City surrendered control of the Premier League title race to Arsenal after losing a lead at Everton before scoring late in a 3-3 draw. Jeremy Doku's goal just before half-time saw City lead at the break and they were still ahead after an hour, but quickly lost their way.
Minutes after Marc Guehi had made a horrible error to allow Thierno Barry to pounce, Jake O'Brien slammed home from a corner to turn the game on its head. All was looking lost for City when Barry added a third for Everton, but Erling Haaland grabbed one back immediately to set up a tense final 10 minutes.
City did their best to rescue a draw and Doku fired in with one of the last kicks of the game. The result means the Blues remain six points behind Arsenal, with one game in hand.
Here are the player ratings from the Manchester Evening News.
Donnarumma: Made a number of crucial saves to stop Everton scoring more but was easily beaten for the set-piece. 7
Nunes: A brilliant ball to get the move going for Doku's goal but he contributed to City's poor second half with missed headers. 5
Khusanov: Got caught in the collective freezing as the game went on as he made uncharacteristic errors. 5
Guehi: The City dam was holding until that awful mistake to let Barry in for the equaliser. A sickener for Guehi. 4
O'Reilly: Worked well with Doku as usual but wasn't able to convert anything and Everton exploited the space left behind. 5
Silva: Everywhere in the first half, swarming the pitch to keep City in control. His influence faded after the break. 6
Gonzalez: Frustrated Guardiola by not making the forward pass enough, and also caught in possession a few times. 4
Semenyo: Worked well running at his defender and showed a better first touch, although he looked tired in the second half. 5
Cherki: Inventive in the first half, although struggled with his defensive work and looked leggy as the game went on. 5
Doku: Did really well for the two goals and will feel like Keane should have had a red card for his foul on him. 7
Haaland: Struggled to get any space all night before finishing well from Kovacic pass through. 5
