Mo Salah insists he has a lot of “good options” when it comes to his next destination, and while he has yet to decide his next step, he knows he still has “a lot to give.”
Salah is expected to feature again for Liverpool before the curtain falls on his trophy-laden career, though a hamstring injury will limit his involvement in the final three games.
The Egyptian has been vocal over the last week in his ‘reasons‘ for leaving, his fears of standards slipping, and that he remains in formidable physical shape at 33.
In an interview with Steven Gerrard on TNT Sports, the former captain asked Salah what comes next, and the Egyptian explained that while he has yet to decide, he remains in “very good” shape for the next challenge.
“Honestly, physically I feel I have a lot to give,” Salah insisted. “I feel very good, I played many games this season, plus the Africa Cup.

“I didn’t decide yet what I’m going to do, to be fair, I have a lot of options, which are good options.
“The most important thing is, physically I feel fine. I feel what I did over the years paid off. I feel my body is good.
“I was laughing with the players in the national team because I run more than them, I told them 33 years old, running 120 minutes more than you guys!
“But I feel very good, physically I’m fine. I will see what’s the best for me.”

Saudi Arabia have held long-term interest in Salah, with the likes of Al Ittihad and Al Hilal both strongly linked, but it would be no surprise for him to continue playing in Europe.
A return to Italy could be possible, but claims of interest from Juventus, who are strongly interested in Alisson, have been dismissed.
There is no question Salah still has the ability to compete at the highest level, and he was quick to offer a reminder during his conversation with Gerrard.
“I feel good, body-wise alright,” Salah said. “I didn’t become old overnight, so last season I had this incredible season, and I think I have a lot to give still.
“I will see what’s best for me, but also to go through the season, I feel like okay, you know what, this is the right thing to do now, and I have peace with it.
“The season was tough for all of us, and I don’t want to say much.”
