Arsenal were handed a huge boost in the Premier League title race after Manchester City were held to a surprise draw at Everton on Monday evening. Pep Guardiola's side trailed 3-1 at the Hill Dickinson before fighting back to earn a point.

The Gunners, meanwhile, claimed a 3-0 win over Fulham on Saturday and now sit five points clear of City. Their rivals, however, still have a game in hand against Crystal Palace, which will be played on May 13.

After the match on Merseyside, Guardiola acknowledged how the title is no longer in City's hands heading into the final weeks of the season. "The point is better than no points, but it would have been better to win the game," said Guardiola.

"Many things happened - the difficulty of the opponent, the incredibly aggressive way they play. It was in our hands and in Arsenal's hands, and now it is not in our hands. We have Brentford on Saturday and we continue and we'll see what happens."

Then, they travel to Bournemouth on May 19 - meaning they will play three games in the space of six days before the final day of the season - at home to Aston Villa on May 24.

For Arsenal, it's a different picture, with their focus turning to Tuesday night's Champions League semi‑final second leg against Atletico Madrid before an away trip to West Ham five days later.

Eight days after that, they host relegated Burnley, then six days later they travel to Selhurst Park to face Crystal Palace on the final day of the season.

In terms of fixture congestion, Arsenal's schedule is friendlier than City's, who not only have an extra game to play but also have the FA Cup final sitting between their last two league fixtures.
