Wayne Rooney has been discussing how Chelsea supporters dealt with their side’s defeat to Nottingham Forest on Monday.
The Stamford Bridge faithful watched Forest’s B team humiliate Calum McFarlane’s men after winning 3-1.
After the game, Jamie Carragher blamed those at the top at Chelsea for what has been a disastrous season for the Blues.

Wayne Rooney found Chelsea’s loss to Nottingham Forest weird after fans’ early exit
Just as Carragher has, this term, Chelsea fans have also blamed the board, as well as their previous manager Liam Rosenior. However, with no permanent head coach in the dugout during the defeat to Forest, Rooney thinks supporters did not know who to point the finger at on Monday.
Instead, Chelsea fans left the game early, with that and all of the above making the second half a really weird one for Rooney.
Speaking on The Wayne Rooney Show after the match, the Manchester United legend said: “Yeah, it was weird. It was weird watching the second half of that game. And the fans have left the seats, they had to leave the stadium. And it almost looked like the fans didn’t know who to have a go at because the manager wasn’t there.
“I think it was clear that they weren’t having Liam Rosenior from the start, which is a shame because he got judged way too early. But they didn’t know who to have a go at. It was quite quiet.”

It is still not clear who Chelsea’s next manager is going to be as they continue to be linked with several names.
Xabi Alonso is thought to be in contention for the Chelsea job, but it remains to be seen whether working under the club’s current sporting structure appeals to him.
Chelsea supporters giving up on team more than justified
People do not like it when fans leave games early, often questioning their commitment to their club.
Chelsea supporters did just that on Monday, clearly giving up on their team. But the players have done practically the same.
They put everything on the line in their FA Cup semi-final against Leeds United, only for their intensity to completely drop in the defeat to Forest.
Why did that happen? With Champions League qualification gone, perhaps some players feel that there is nothing left to play for in the Premier League, unlike the FA Cup. If that is the case, Chelsea fans were well within their rights to leave Stamford Bridge early on Monday.
