Enzo Boyono has a release clause of £21.7m.
Boyono has played 26 La Liga games this season for Osasuna.
Brighton, Sunderland, Ipswich and Italian side Como are also interested.
Everton’s summer defensive recruitment is likely to include a centre‑back. With Jarrad Branthwaite sidelined for the remainder of the season and Michael Keane entering the final phase of his career, David Moyes needs young, reliable options. The Blues are linked with a host of names, including Nathan Ake and John Stones.
Latest reports have emerged, suggesting Osasuna’s Enzo Boyomo as a potential target for Everton.
According to journalist Matteo Moretto, Everton are one of a number of Premier League clubs “keeping a close eye” on the 24‑year‑old Cameroonian international.

Brighton, Sunderland, Ipswich and Italian side Como are also interested in the defender, who has nine caps for Cameroon. Boyomo spent his developmental years in the academy of Blackburn Rovers from 2016 to 2020 before moving to Toulouse. He is now under contract with Osasuna until June 2029 and has a release clause of approximately £21.7m.
Enzo Boyomo La Liga season by numbers and playing style
Enzo Boyomo has made a total of 58 appearances in La Liga across two seasons. This campaign, he has featured 26 times while starting 25 of them. He has scored one goal and provided one assist as well.
Defensively, he averages 2.0 tackles and 0.5 interceptions per match, with 4.4 ball recoveries and 4.0 clearances. His tackling has been described as a “very strong” trait. He has also been named in the Team of the Week three times this season.
Boyomo’s style of play includes a preference for short passes and tackling. He has an 86% pass completion rate, with 94% accuracy in his own half. He has kept five clean sheets and has not made any errors leading to a shot this season.
Would Enzo Boyomo choose Everton?
Osasuna are themselves in the mix for European qualification, and the Spanish club are reportedly reluctant to sell Enzo Boyomo for any fee less than his release clause. That means a straight £21.7m bid would be required to trigger negotiations.
Everton can be an attractive option for the defender if they secure European football themselves, provided he is promised playing minutes. With Branthwaite expected to return next season and Tarkowski still a regular, competition for places would be fierce. However, Moyes rotates his defence, and European fixtures would increase the need for squad depth.
Enzo Boyomo is a right‑footed centre‑back who can also play on the right side of a back three. His physicality and tackling ability would suit the Premier League. If Everton can meet the release clause and offer a clear pathway to first‑team football, they could beat Brighton, Sunderland and others to his signature.
The interest in the Cameroonian is genuine. Now it is a question of whether The Friedkin Group are willing to invest. With a significant summer rebuild expected, Enzo Boyomo represents a solid, affordable option to strengthen Everton’s backline for years to come.
