With Champions League football next season now confirmed, Manchester United's attention will swiftly turn to summer transfer business.
The Red Devils are likely to have money to spend in the transfer window, which will have been boosted by the £16million (at least) they will receive for qualifying for the Champions League.
Michael Carrick remains the frontrunner for the full-time manager's job at Old Trafford, following the turnaround in form he has achieved since replacing the sacked Ruben Amorim in January, although United will complete a formal process before making any decision.
And the Englishman, if he is handed the reins permanently, will want to bolster his squad for the added pressure of Champions League football next season.
Manchester United Need Signings To Bolster The Squad For More Matches Next Season

United played the fewest games in their history this season, being knocked out of the domestic cups at the first hurdle and not being in Europe, meaning they only had to concentrate on the Premier League.
Additional games will stretch the squad in its current capacity, while Carrick and the United hierarchy will want to challenge for the biggest honours too.
A midfielder or two is expected to arrive at Old Trafford this summer, with Elliot Anderson the number one target for the club. They will face competition from Manchester City for his signature, but United have other options in the form of Carlos Baleba and Aurelien Tchoumaeni too.
Carrick will look to add reinforcements at the back and in the forward line too, and Morgan Rogers is a name that has been linked with joining the United revolution.
According to Sky Sports Switzerland, United have made contact with Aston Villa to explore a deal for Rogers, who is understood to be open to a move to Old Trafford, particularly now they have secured Champions League football for next season.
Villa would be loathe to let one of their prized assets leave, although they will have to ensure they comply with the Premier League's new Squad Cost Ratio rules and would demand a fee of at least £80million to even think about selling the 23-year-old, who is contracted to Villa Park until 2031.

Like Anderson, United will not have it all their own way when it comes to cutting a deal to sign Rogers, with Premier League rivals Arsenal, Chelsea and Liverpool all credited with an interest in the forward too.
But United may just have the upper hand, with two secret weapons when it comes to negotiations.
GIVEMESPORT's senior football correspondent Ben Jacobs said: "Manchester United have got a bit of history indirectly with Morgan Rogers, because Jason Wilcox was at Manchester City when Rogers was there and played a hand in his development.
"And then Michael Carrick was at Middlesbrough when Rogers arrived, and Manchester United are going to make it a high priority under either Carrick if he gets the job, or a new manager, to find a left winger, and one option is Morgan Rogers."
