Arsenal are now the frontrunners to win the Premier League after they managed to recover from their setback over Man City as they sit five points ahead of their title rivals. This is largely thanks to City failing to capitalise on opportunities against Everton as they could only manage to scrape through a draw in a six-goal thriller.
With the Gunners now back in pole position, the bookies have made their mark in making the leaders odds-on favourites once again with the likes of William Hill, Ladbrokes and Coral all pricing them at 1/4 to finally lift the Premier League trophy for the first in 22 years. City, meanwhile, trail behind at 7/2 with Betfred and BetGoodwin.
Pep Guardiola's side struggled to get a serious footprint in the match and control the tempo as they found themselves 3-1 down at the Hill Dickinson Stadium with less than 10 minutes of normal time left to play. Erling Haaland managed to get one back before Jeremy Doku's superb curling effort secured a point with the side still with a game-in-hand.
William Hill's spokesperson Lee Phelps said: “After Arsenal’s statement win at Fulham and Man City’s slip at Goodison Park, the Premier League title race has taken another big twist and our market has followed suit – the Gunners are now clear 2/9 favourites, with City out to 3/1.

“We pushed Mikel Arteta’s side out to 6/5 to win the title back in April and it was the first time they were odds-against for months, but Mikel Arteta’s men have wrestled back control of our outright market.
"With Atletico Madrid to come tonight and a potential Champions League final on top of their final league games, Arsenal are effectively five matches from an unforgettable Premier League and Champions League double, and at 5/2 there will be no shortage of fans willing to back them to finish the job at home and abroad.”
Betfred spokesperson Robert Ford said: “With a handful of games to go, Arsenal have been shot into 1/5 odds-on favourites to win the Premier League title this season after Manchester City dropped two crucial points on the road at the Hill Dickinson Stadium.
“Arsenal may still have to win every one of their remaining games to secure the league title, but the race is now back in their hands whilst City have drifted out to 10/3.
“Last weekend the pair were both odds-on, with City edging it at 5/6, whilst the Gunners were at 10/11, but after Arsenal’s win at home to Fulham on Saturday, Mikel Arteta’s side were the 4/7 favourites, but their implied probability of winning a fourth Premier League title is now in a strong position at 83.3% after Manchester City’s draw last night.”
Arsenal go into the final run-in of the season facing West Ham, Burnley and Crystal Palace while Man City have Brentford, Crystal Palace, Bournemouth and Aston Villa along with an FA Cup Final against Chelsea to contend with.
