Anna Mariana Casemiro, wife of the Manchester United midfielder, was seen applauding supporters' chants of: "One more year, Casemiro."
The Brazilian is widely expected to depart Old Trafford at the end of the season. The former Real Madrid player had been labeled a failed signing for some time, with Jamie Carragher famously advising him to "leave the football, before the football leaves you."
Yet he has now emerged as one of United's key figures just months ahead of his intended exit. After United's 3-2 triumph over Liverpool at Old Trafford, Matheus Cunha seemed to suggest his fellow Brazilian might reconsider his decision to leave the club.

Since footage emerged of the midfielder's wife, many fans now believe she's keen for him to stay at the club. A United supporter captured video of Anna applauding United chants of: "One more year Casemiro."
The chants continued for several minutes beyond the final whistle against Liverpool. She appeared genuinely moved by the supporters' tributes to her husband, who has notched nine Premier League goals and two assists across 33 appearances this season.

One supporter wrote: "Casemiro's wife and children stayed over after the game was done to sing along with the fans. You can tell if she had her way. Casemiro would stayed with us for one more year, see the emotions she's going through."
Casemiro's United and international teammate Cunha appeared to hint that the midfield enforcer might opt to remain at Old Trafford beyond the current campaign.
The summer arrival from Wolves remarked: "I play with him in the national team and I know how important he is.
"He's an amazing guy. And yeah, to have this guy in the dressing room is a privilege.
"We don't know in the end how it is with his contract, and then of course we, everyone, hopes there's a little bit more. Of course, of course, I know it's harder than we talked about, but yeah, in the end, you never know."

Toward the end of April, Carrick was emphatic that Casemiro's departure had been a mutual decision between player and club. The United interim manager stated: "It's pretty clear – from both sides it's pretty clear the decision.
"It's pretty clear, too, how much it means to him [playing for United] and probably the situation and the clarity of the decision has helped everything to be understandable for the supporters as well.
"Credit to him because he's given absolutely everything and had some big moments for us, so all round it's quite a nice direction for it to be taken."
