Real Madrid striker Kylian Mbappé continues to work away from the group just a few days ahead of El Clásico against Barcelona. The French star is still recovering from the muscle injury he suffered against Betis and will get an MRI on Thursday to determine whether or not he will be ready to face Barcelona on Sunday.
Mbappé and Real Madrid will not take any risks with his recovery, knowing that Los Blancos have nothing to play for and that a relapse would be catastrophic for the player just a month ahead of the FIFA World Cup. Still, there’s a good chance that Mbappé‘s rehab process has actually worked and that he is able to play at the Camp Nou.
