Journalist has now dropped massive Liverpool transfer news after"agreed personal terms"

Alisson has been linked with a move from Liverpool to Juventus this summer, and now a massive new claim has emerged from journalist Nicolo Schira.

The 33-year-old has become one of the biggest icons of this gloriopus period at Anfield, winning the Champions League and two Premier League titles with the Reds.

Alisson has been strongly mentioned as an option for Juve, with the Brazilian having one year remaining on his current Liverpool deal, and now a significant new update has dropped.

Writing on X, Schira said that the Reds’ legendary goalkeeper has now agreed personal terms with the Serie A giants, in a concerning claim:

“Alisson Becker has agreed personal terms with Juventus for a contract until 2029 (€5M/year). Juveare now working to try to reach a deal with Liverpoolwhich have no decide if selling the goalkeeper yet. Opened talks.”

Liverpool must keep hold of Alisson for one more year

This is turning into a worrying period at Liverpool, not just because of Arne Slot’s struggles, despite unpopular reports that he will stay on, but because of modern greats leaving the club.

Mohamed Salah and Andy Robertson have already both confirmed that they are moving on at the end of this season, so for Alisson depart as well would be tough to stomach.

The difference between him and the other two is that he is still at his peak, even though injuries have become more problematic, and Virgil van Dijk has made it clear that he wants his friend and colleague to stay on recently, saying:

“We have been through everything together, positive things and some negative things unfortunately as well, so it would definitely be a big blow and a miss but I don’t think, for me, it’s a good idea to think ahead about what could or could not happen. He’s very important for me as one of the leaders in the team and I think he is very important on the pitch because I think he is one of the best – in my opinion the best – goalkeeper in the world.”

Liverpool must persuade Alisson to stay for at least one more year – losing him would be a major blow and threaten to set the Reds back further heading into next season, with Giorgi Mamardashvili not yet fully convincing between the sticks.
