Arne Slot’s agent hints at ‘lot of changes’ at Liverpool – Slot contract negotiations huge

**Arne Slot’s agent, Rafaela Pimenta, has hinted that there will be ‘a lot of changes’ at [Liverpool](https://sportwitness.co.uk/liverpool/) this summer, after admitting dealing with the Reds was the biggest moment of her career.**

[ESPN Netherlands have an interview](https://www.espn.nl/voetbal/artikel/_/id/16672958/zaakwaarnemer-pimenta-contract-slot-bij-liverpool-had-meeste-impact-op-mijn-carriere) with the Brazilian agent today. She discusses various topics, including Slot’s status at Liverpool.

**Liverpool summer changes**

----------------------------

The Dutch coach faces an interesting summer, with large parts of the Liverpool fanbase wanting to see him replaced at the helm.

It’s been a difficult year for the Liverpool manager, with Liverpool currently 18 points behind leaders Arsenal after offering up a non-existent defence of last season’s title.

That’s come despite a huge summer in which the Reds spent record amounts reshaping the squad with major additions. Reports from England, though, have indicated that Slot retains the faith of the club’s hierarchy. He will, unless there is a major change, remain at Anfield.

That’s despite contact from Ajax. Recent reports have indicated that the Dutch giants have made an offer to the Liverpool manager.

Pimenta wouldn’t comment on that. But she did indicate that Liverpool and Ajax ‘will definitely have many changes’.

_“Ajax is an important club, although it is certainly not a big club like Real Madrid and FC Barcelona,”_ he said.

_“But for Brazil, Ajax is a very important club because it is a buying club. And we (Brazil) are an export country.”_

**Arne Slot contract negotiations**

-----------------------------------

Pimenta, instead, preferred to focus on Arne Slot’s initial move to Liverpool in the summer of 2024. That move, according to her, was the biggest and most important of her career to date.

_“It was truly incredible,”_ she added.

_“Imagine: I grew up in Brazil, where I followed Liverpool from a distance, during that season when you thought: wow, look at Liverpool! And suddenly you are sitting there negotiating the manager’s contract. I think it was one of the most impactful moments in my career, yes.”_

Now the focus is on whether more contract talks are on the way. With just a year left on his deal, Slot finds himself in a precarious position.

Whether he gets an extension will surely depend on how next season goes. At this point, there’s certainly not many Liverpool fans who would be handing it out.
