Tickets are now on sale for the FA Youth Cup final between Manchester City and Manchester United.
The showpiece takes place on Thursday, May 14, at the Joie Stadium with a 7pm kick off. City are playing the final at their Academy home having been unable to find a date for the match to take place at the Etihad due to Premier League fixtures and ongoing work on the construction of the North Stand.
United offered to host the tie at Old Trafford but City did not want to give up home advantage and the final will now take place at the 7,000 capacity Joie. A sell-out crowd is expected for the first Manchester derby in the Youth Cup since 1986 and tickets are now on sale.
Prices are set at £5 for adults and £3 for concessions while City fans wishing to attend must have been a matchday member before Tuesday. United have been allocated 968 tickets for the final with those tickets set to go on sale on Thursday, May 7.
The game is a 7pm kick off and could go to extra time and penalties. United are the most successful club in Youth Cup history with 11 triumphs while City will be playing in their 14th final and third in a row. The Blues beat Leeds in 2024 but lost to Aston Villa a year later.
City and United will also meet at the Joie Stadium on Friday in a Premier League 2 semi-final. That game is a 7pm start and the winners will face a trip to Tottenham or Brighton in the final, with that game scheduled to be played next Friday, just 24 hours after the Youth Cup final promoting a fixture headache for whoever wins Friday's Manchester derby.
