Slot’s agent hints ‘many changes’ & £100m Kroupi admirers – Latest LFC News

Liverpool have been linked to a Bournemouth‘s talented young attacker, Junior Kroupi, while Arne Slot‘s agent has hinted at ‘many changes’ this summer.

Liverpool reportedly ‘monitoring’ Junior Kroupi

Kroupi’s season has perhaps gone under the radar. At just 19 years old, the Bournemouth attacker has scored 12 goals in 30 Premier League appearances.

Thanks to his performances up front and in attacking midfield, the Frenchman is attracting interest from the biggest teams in England and beyond.

Mark Douglas of the i Paper reported that Liverpool are among four clubs monitoring Kroupi, who only cost Bournemouth £10 million in January 2025.

The journalist explained Kroupi has no release clause and claimed: “The earliest a transfer would be considered is the summer of 2027 – and then the value would be £100 million plus.”

Arsenal, Man United and Man City are also credited with interest, while the Mail added Barcelona‘s name to that list, too.

Sky Sports reporter Lyall Thomas said that Bournemouth “are not looking to sell Kroupi in the next window,” but he has been “tracked extensively by Barcelona and they see him as a prospect for the long-term.”

At this point in time, it seems unlikely that Liverpool will be drawn into a bidding war for such a young attacker, though Kroupi could fit the profile of a quick, young forward they need.

• Following an interview with Slot’s agent, Rafaela Pimenta, ESPN report that she indicated Liverpool and Ajax will have many changes this summer – could that be a hint at her client’s future?

• Ibrahima Konate and Florian Wirtz didn’t take part in Liverpool’s training session on Wednesday – they instead worked away from the main group, according to Sky Sports

• Unlike Konate and Wirtz, Mo Salah, Alexander Isak, Alisson and Giorgi Mamardashvili were absent altogether from training – looks like it could be Freddie Woodman in goal again then

• Merseyside journalist David Lynch reported on his Substack that Monaco’s Lamine Camara and Lens’ Mamadou Sangare are among the Reds’ emerging midfield targets – Lynch also added Adam Wharton to that list

As the potential departures of Curtis Jones and Alexis Mac Allister get closer this summer, Liverpool will be in need of reinforcements.

Jack Lusby took a look at some of the players Liverpool could target to help regain control of the middle of the park:

“With Ryan Gravenberch given more license to push forward it has made Liverpool susceptible to quick turnovers, while sides have been allowed to play through the middle third of the pitch with ease.

“That is as much an issue with their tactical setup as it is the personnel available to Slot, but regardless it is evident that the Reds are lacking a top-level No. 6.”
