Martin Odegaard has his eyes set on Premier League and Champions League glory
Arsenal captain Martin Odegaard has told his team-mates they now solely need to focus on themselves until the end of the season.
The Gunners squad watched Monday night's 3-3 draw between Everton and Manchester City from home before their Champions League semi-final triumph over Atletico Madrid.
City face Brentford on Saturday before Arsenal head to West Ham in a massive game at the London Stadium but the Norwegian insists that match is where the club's focus must lie.
When asked how much of a boost City's slip-up was earlier this week, he said: “We can’t think about the other teams, we have to focus on ourselves.

"It’s about what we can do, we have everything in our own hands. We have to enjoy the moment now, but we have to get ready for the weekend and another big game."
Odegaard did however pause to reflect on reaching the club's first Champions League final since 2006.
He played the final 32 minutes after entering the fray from the bench and now Mikel Arteta's men can look forward to a showpiece occasion in Budapest.
Odegaard said: “It’s unbelievable. Such a special night, such an amazing moment for the team, for the club, for the supporters, for everyone. It’s beautiful and we’ve been working hard towards these kinds of moments.
“We said we wanted to go further than last year and we did. It was such a beautiful night, the stadium was on fire and playing a Champions League final is something we’ve all been dreaming about our whole lives."

He added on the electric atmosphere as the team bus arrived at the Emirates: “It was unbelievable. Never seen anything like it.
"It was such a special day from the moment we arrived, the whole atmosphere before the game, during the game and afterwards in the dressing room was special and beautiful moments."
Three wins will do it for Arsenal in the Premier League. Arteta won't allow his players to get ahead of themselves and with West Ham fighting for survival, this weekend's match-up is the Gunners' biggest hurdle before potential glory.
Jurrien Timber and Mikel Merino are the only two players currently sidelined through injury and there is hope they can both return before the end of the campaign to bolster Arteta's ranks, too.
