Bills news: Biggest questions about Bills roster after the draft

The Buffalo Bills used six of their 10 picks in the 2026 NFL Draft to solidify their defense, including adding edge rusher T.J. Parker, cornerback Davison Igbinosun, and linebacker Kaleb Elarms-Orr. This on the heels of the team acquiring free agent edge rusher Bradley Chubb, and retooling their secondary by bringing in C.J. Gardner-Johnson, Geno Stone, and Dee Alford to resolve some of the issues on the defensive side of the ball.

Buffalo also addressed a few offensive concerns by dealing for veteran wide receiver D.J. Moore, bringing back starting center Connor McGovern, and retaining veteran tight end Dawson Knox.

But is it enough to get Josh Allen and the Bills over the top?

Today’s edition of Buffalo Rumblinks leads off by examining the biggest lingering roster questions as the Bills rookies prepare to gather Friday and Saturday for Rookie Minicamp.

Be sure to share your biggest roster concerns in the comments section.

Buffalo Bills fans have been clamoring for president of football operations/general manager Brandon Beane to bring in a prototypical nose tackle for Jim Leonhard’s new 3-4 defensive scheme, but to date, it appears Beane is content riding with Deone Walker at the nose tackle spot.

Among the other lingering roster questions: With D.J. Moore and Khalil Shakir firmly entrenched as Buffalo’s top two wide receivers, who will emerge as the team’s No. 3 option between Keon Coleman (pictured below) and Joshua Palmer, who battled through a variety of injuries during his first season in Western New York? Should the Bills continue to have faith in oft-injured linebacker Terrel Bernard? Who will stand out from the crowd to claim the starting left guard role? How well can Walker, DeWayne Carter and veteran Phidarian Mathis handle the nose tackle responsibilities?

Plus, breaking down what Joe Brady’s offense could look like in his first year as head coach and seeing where Josh Allen and the Bills check in on the latest offseason NFL power rankings.

Previewing the start of Buffalo’s Rookie Minicamp, where the Bills 10 drafted players, undrafted rookie free agents and a slew of invited players—including former Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Jermaine Burton (pictured below) will get a first chance at impressing Brandon Beane and Joe Brady.
