Brazilian soccer against Rafaela Pimenta has opened up on the honor of representing Arne Slot when he moved to Liverpool to replace Jurgen Klopp in the summer of 2024.
Pimenta took on the Mino Raiola roster of players when he died in 2022, which included the likes of Erling Haaland, Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Paul Pogba. She became one of the sport's first female super agents.
When Slot was identified as the man to take over from Klopp at Anfield, he was open to the opportunity, having previously turned down an approach from Tottenham. And Pimenta was one of those to help make the switch from Feyenoord happen.

"It was truly incredible," Pimenta told ESPN Netherlands. "Imagine: I grew up in Brazil, where I followed Liverpool from a distance, in that season when you thought: wow, look at Liverpool!
"And suddenly you are sitting there negotiating the manager's contract. I think it was one of the most impactful moments in my career, yes."
Slot won the Premier League title in his first season at the helm, though this campaign has been more difficult for Liverpool. A big summer awaits to ensure that the Reds can get back on track next term.

Pimenta was also asked about which club is hardest to deal with. "[Manchester City] are very serious and very organized," she added.
"They are very big. They know what they are doing and have a lot of experience. They actually need nothing — they have everything — so we have no room for negotiation."
Liverpool is currently 13 points behind Manchester City in the Premier League standings. It is 18 behind Arsenal, who look set to win the league title.
The Reds need a maximum of four more points, with three games remaining, to qualify for the Champions League. In all likelihood, fewer will be enough as those below Liverpool could also fail to win.

Slot was asked after losing to Manchester United on Sunday if he was "concerned" about finishing inside the top five places.
"I wouldn’t say concerned is the right word, but I’m completely aware of the fact that we need three points," he replied.
"That’s why I was so annoyed that we didn’t pick them up today. Although we didn’t deserve to get these points in the first half, that’s completely clear.

"But if you are 2-2 coming back after [being] 2-0 down, then you should at least go away here with a result, which we didn’t do. We knew before the game we had four chances to pick up three points to qualify for the Champions League. Now there are three chances left."
