Brighton Women drew 1-1 with Arsenal, a result which handed the Barclays WSL title to Manchester City.
Brighton capped a good first half with a breakthrough close to the interval, Fuka Tsunoda picking up the loose ball from a free kick and hitting a deflected shot that goalkeeper Daphne van Domselaar couldn’t turn the other side of the post.
Arsenal stepped it up after the restart and Caitlin Foord saw her strike superbly tipped over the crossbar by Chiamaka Nnadozie.
Frida Maanum was not awarded a penalty after a challenge by Charlie Rule in the box but soon got the equaliser, played through by Alessia Russo to finish confidently.
