Liverpool will head into their second season back with Adidas in 2026/27 and are expected to wear a bold white away kit and a bespoke design for the goalkeeper.
Adidas’ first kits back in partnership with Liverpool have proved hugely popular – particularly this season’s ‘bottle green’ throwback third kit.
With the 2026/27 campaign fast approaching, the designs for the new season will already have been approved and the home shirt has already been spotted overseas.

A bold white design with maroon red and light grey detailing, the shirt features a v-neck collar with a striped design in a throwback to the club’s popular Adidas kits of the 1980s.
The Adidas stripes running down the sleeves are broken by a white panel for the shirt-sleeve sponsor and the Premier League logo.
Liverpool’s new away kit will also reportedly feature the iconic Liverpool badge currently seen on this season’s third kit as well as Adidas’ trefoil logo.
According to the reliable Footy Headlines the shirt will include “a unique classic shield-style crest pattern across the front” which is “almost exactly taken from the 1970s tickets.”
New Liverpool Adidas home kit 2026/27: Bespoke goalkeeper design
Next season’s Liverpool home kit is expected to be another throwback to one of the club’s most popular kits of all time: the Candy shirt worn in 1989/90 and 1990/91.
Featuring the same eye-catching all-over design with a modern twist, it will be accompanied by a new bespoke goalkeeper kit, reports Footy Headlines.
This would be based on Adidas’ goalkeeper kit template for the 2026/27 season with two shades of green and white detailing – including the same all-over design as the outfield shirt.
When will Liverpool first wear the 2026/27 home kit?
It remains to be seen if Liverpool will debut their new home kit for the 2026/27 season on the final day of the current campaign, which would be against Brentford to Anfield on May 24.
However it is often the case that clubs do so and the Reds unveiled their final Nike shirt on the last home game of the season in 2023/24.
The reason Liverpool did not do the same last season was due to the impending handover from Nike to Adidas, which only took place midway through pre-season.
The away and third kits will then be launched later in the year, with the latter only likely to be available once the 2026/27 season has got underway.
Due to the World Cup, the next Premier League campaign will start on August 22.
