Veteran cornerback Rasul Douglas is still on the open market in May, more than two months into the 2026 NFL offseason.
Reporter Easton Butler spoke directly with Douglas and reported on X that the 30-year-old called Green Bay home and has expressed interest in a potential return to the Packers.
Butler also reported that Douglas was said to be in talks with the Green Bay Packers, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Buffalo Bills, and Washington Commanders.
Douglas was cautious about the specifics. "Idk how accurate that is honestly," he told Butler, adding that he does not yet know which team he will sign with.
Douglas has been a member of eight NFL franchises, but his Green Bay chapter remains his most productive
Originally a third-round pick of the Philadelphia Eagles in 2017, he has built a 135-game career that has taken him across the league.

His standout run came with the Packers between 2021 and 2023, where he intercepted 10 passes in 36 games and earned a three-year, $21 million extension.
Green Bay traded him to the Bills at the 2023 deadline. He then signed with Miami in August 2025, recording two interceptions and 13 pass breakups.
Cornerback remains a genuine area of concern for the Packers despite adding Benjamin St-Juste in free agency. Douglas will turn 31 in August. His market has moved slower than expected this offseason, which may ultimately benefit whichever team moves quickest.
