Many new members here at TST did not have the privilege of knowing Frank DeBose. Frank was an accountant from Hamilton, Ontario, Canada. Frank was a devoted Rams fan who loved to converse with members at TST. Sadly, Frank passed away I believe from cancer. He was loved and is missed by all.
Frank's screen name was RamFan1313. Frank was nicknamed as "Dubs" by TST members because his screen name contained a double 13. I suspect it was Frank's way of honoring Kurt Warner.
Dubs' was respected by all here at TST. He was a master technician in respect to "crunching" cap numbers. Dubs' would always politely and respectfully correct TST members when we were wrong about cap numbers. Out of respect for Dubs members would often say "where is Dubs he knows the correct cap numbers."
I can remember Dubs always saying to others "I bow respectfully in your direction." Frank was the quintessential quintessence of class. The world is a sadder place without Frank in it. We all suffered a great loss when Frank was no longer with us.
I would like, in Dubs' honor, to reminisce about Frank, tell stories about him and in general express your thoughts about Dubs. The heart and sole of any organization or sports blog is the members who comprise it. Honor Frank by trying to emulate Frank & be like Frank.
