The club have acted quickly after a fight between the two stars broke out.

Real Madrid have decided on the punishment that Federico Valverde and Aurelien Tchouameni will face after their fight led to a hospital trip.

On Wednesday, reports emerged in Spain that Real Madrid was in complete crisis as six players were refusing to speak to manager Alvaro Arbeloa while others were fighting on the training pitch.

The first incident involved Antonio Rudiger reportedly slapping Alvaro Carreras during a training session, with star striker Kylian Mbappe also said to have been involved in a heated altercation with a member of staff.

However, the biggest incident was between midfielders Valverde and Tchouameni, who had an argument during training on Wednesday that became physical as the pair pushed each other and continued arguing in the dressing room.

Less than 24 hours later, it was revealed that things between the pair had gotten even worse, as they clashed again to the point that players had to intervene and Valverde was sent to go to hospital.

It is reported that the incident started when Valverde refused to shake hands with Tchouameni after their initial conflict leading to things kicking off once again.

According to Spanish outlet Cadena SER, the altercation took place in the locker room and ended as Valverde fell to the floor and hit his head on a table, sustaining a cut that led to him being rushed to hospital.

Sources told the outlet that the cut, which required stitches, was caused by the Uruguayan star slipping and not from a punch from Tchouameni.

Following the incident Real Madrid is believed to have made it clear to both players that they will receive a severe punishment, with a source stating: "It will be the maximum possible penalty."

Disciplinary orders have been issued to both players, with the two incidents set to be addressed in an internal investigation.
