Liverpool will fancy their chances when they take on Chelsea at Anfield this Saturday.
Chelsea are on an atrocious run of form, losing six consecutive games in the Premier League following their 3-1 defeat to Nottingham Forest.
However, the last time the Blues faced Liverpool, they won 2-1 and there were several good individual performances on the day.
Moises Caicedo and Marc Cucurella inspired Chelsea to victory over Liverpool earlier this season
Two players who really stood out were Moises Caicedo and Marc Cucurella, with the former opening the scoring with an incredible long-range effort.
Where has this Moises Caicedo gone? 😫
Absolutely bossed Liverpool at the Bridge!
Caicedo has not put in a display like that in a while, and the same can also be said about Cucurella. As the season has gone on, both players have declined.
Calum McFarlane will need the pair to reproduce their performances against Liverpool at Stamford Bridge this weekend if Chelsea are to have any chance of returning to west London with anything.
As well as scoring, Caicedo also made two tackles, one interception and one clearance, according to Sofascore. He won four out of eight aerial duels in total.
Cucurella made even more defensive contributions. In fact, Reece James was the only player on the pitch to make more than him.

The Spaniard finished the game with nine defensive actions, including five clearances. He was not dribbled past once and also assisted one of Chelsea’s goals.
Mohamed Salah could not get past him, while Cucurella was a threat going in the opposite direction.
Unfortunately for Chelsea, Cucurella has just not been the same since Enzo Maresca’s departure. He is definitely one member of the squad who took the Italian’s exit hard.
Hopefully, the 27-year-old can put that behind him and deliver another masterclass against Liverpool on Saturday.
Cucurella and Caicedo are two of Chelsea’s best players. The team’s decline has coincided with their dips in form. Had Caicedo, Cucurella and Cole Palmer all performed a bit better during the second half of this season, Chelsea would probably still be competing for a Champions League place.
