All the drama surrounding New England Patriots coach Mike Vrabel and former Athletic reporter Dianna Russini just won't let up.
Page Six sent the NFL world into a frenzy on April 7 by sharing photos of Vrabel and Russini holding hands at a hotel in Arizona. A few weeks later, the publication released images from March 2020 that show Vrabel and Russini apparently sharing a kiss at a bar in New York City.
As if those two stories didn't cause enough chaos, TMZ reported Wednesday that Russini and Vrabel rented a boat in Tennessee back in June 2021. The NFL insider was pregnant with her first child at the time of this encounter.
"The timing of that outing might raise a few eyebrows, because Russini was pregnant at the time with her first child. Documents, obtained by TMZ Sports, show both signed the company waiver before heading out on a lake … and our source says there was no visible PDA before they departed," TMZ reported. "We're also told Vrabel and Russini appeared cautious about photos being taken, and while she declined to pose at all with the staff … Vrabel agreed to snap one pic, but allegedly asked that no images be publicly posted."

Less than 24 hours later, TMZ shared footage of Russini and Vrabel getting ready for their boat day.
"Check it out ... Russini walks ahead as the then-Titans head coach trails a few feet behind her. At one point, she turns around to talk to him, and it's very easy to see she was about 6-7 months pregnant at the time," TMZ wrote. "Mike and Diana were dressed casually, in T-shirts and shorts, as they made their way toward the boat."
Patriots facing pressure to move on from Vrabel.
There are plenty of media members and fans questioning how Vrabel could even coach the Patriots next season. The team's front office and ownership, however, have voiced their support for Vrabel over the past few weeks.
"The New England Patriots fully support Mike Vrabel's decision to prioritize his family first, as well as his own well-being," the team said prior to the NFL Draft. "Mike has been open with us about his commitment to being the best version of himself for his family, this team and our fans, and we respect the steps he is taking to follow through on that commitment."
Patriots quarterback Drake Maye has also embraced Vrabel. He told reporters, "We know he's dealing with some stuff off the field and out of the coaching world but we're here for him and I know he's gonna come back."
For now, it sounds like Vrabel will remain the head coach of the Patriots.
