Manchester City are seriously considering a blockbuster move to sign Real Madrid star Vinicius Jr this summer, according to TEAMtalk.
The Cityzens are pushing for a domestic treble this season but currently trail Arsenal by five points in the Premier League with four games left to play, while they have already won the Carabao Cup and will face Chelsea in the FA Cup final later this month.
But the club are already making plans for the summer transfer window to ensure that they are able to stay competitive next season, and now a huge opportunity to sign one of the best players in the world has arisen.
Man City Seriously Consider Vini Jr Deal
Vinicius Jr
Vini Jr, who has been described as 'the best player in the world', is set to enter the final 12 months of his contract at the Bernabeu this summer, despite enjoying a final individual campaign where he has netted 21 goals - just three shy of his best ever tally.
But with an agreement yet to be found, it's understood that Real Madrid have told the Brazilian that he will be sold this summer should no new deal be signed before the end of the transfer window.
That has alerted Man City to the possibility of bringing the 25-year-old to the Premier League, and they realise that it's rare that a generational talent becomes available for transfer.
It's understood that within Madrid, the most likely scenario is still that he signs a new deal. But City are seriously considering making a move to tempt Vini Jr to leave, while any deal would be a big enough fee that it could also convince Real Madrid to part ways with their number seven.
Vini Jr a Guaranteed Starter at Man City

City have got an abundance of quality in attack with the likes of Jeremy Doku, Antoine Semenyo, Rayan Cherki, Omar Marmoush, and Phil Foden as options to play behind Erling Haaland.
But while those players are all among the best in the Premier League individually, none of them have the individual quality that Vini Jr possesses, and his explosive qualities mean that he would undoubtedly be a guaranteed starter at the Etihad Stadium.
Pep Guardiola has always loved having flair players with skill and the ability to beat opponents one on one, and while there are question marks about whether or not he will still be the manager next season, Vinicius would be a huge signing for City regardless of who is in the dugout.
