The Indianapolis Colts announced that they are moving on from veteran defensive back Kenny Moore. Adam Schefter was the first to report on the news that the Colts tried to trade Moore, but ultimately decided that releasing him to free agency was the right call.
Moore started 111 games for the Colts and was a Pro Bowler in 2021. The now former Colt has been one of the best slot corners in the league since he entered. In his career, Moore has racked up 649 tackles (498 solo) with 11.5 sacks, six forced fumbles, two fumble recoveries, 21 interceptions, and four touchdowns. There is no doubt that Moore will go down as one of the best defensive players in the history of the Colts.

Indianapolis also cut former safety Nasir Adderley for the Los Angeles Chargers. Adderley retired from the league a few seasons ago and was attempting to make an NFL comeback. Adderley signed with the Colts a few weeks back, but did not last long and now hopes to find a new home in the league, just as Moore will be doing. LB John Bullock was also waived.
The Colts are going to be an interesting team to watch next season. With an injured Daniel Jones, will they have enough talent at the position to pull off the season they had last year in 2025? It's still crazy to think that an 8-2 Colts team missed the playoffs.
Colts offensive coordinator Jim Bob Cooter did not have much clarity on Anthony Richardson's eye situation. Only Richardson knows if he is able to take the reins and run with it.
