Mohamed Salah is set to leave Liverpool this summer, leaving the club with a major gap to fill in attack ahead of the new season.

At times this campaign, Arne Slot has also been short of options at centre-back, although Jeremy Jacquet is expected to arrive from Rennes.

In midfield, any additions could depend on potential departures, with Curtis Jones continuing to be linked with a move. At left-back, Kostas Tsimikas could come in as a replacement for Andy Robertson.

The clearest issue, however, is out wide. With Salah departing at the end of the season, Liverpool are expected to target a younger, faster winger with an eye for goal. Several players have already been linked with a move to Anfield this summer, including RB Leipzig’s Yan Diomande.

Bradley Barcola is also firmly back on Liverpool’s radar, with fresh reports suggesting the Paris Saint-Germain winger could become available. Barcola had previously attracted interest from Liverpool last summer following Luis Díaz’s £65m move to Bayern Munich.

With Salah preparing to end an illustrious Anfield career after a difficult season by his standards – scoring just seven Premier League goals – Liverpool are now assessing their attacking options.

According to Sky Sports in Germany, both Liverpool and Arsenal are interested in Barcola, while Barcelona are also monitoring his situation closely. Arsenal, in particular, are said to be highly keen on signing the winger. Several top European clubs are already in talks with Barcola’s representatives.

No formal offers have been made yet, with discussions still at an early stage. However, should PSG’s valuation be met and Barcola be convinced by the sporting project, a key decision could be made this summer.

At Parc des Princes, Barcola has featured in 26 Ligue 1 matches, though his place in the team is not guaranteed given the strong competition from Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, Ousmane Dembélé, and Désiré Doué.

The France international has been with PSG since August 2023, having started his career at Lyon. Across his time in Paris, he has registered 38 goals and 37 assists in 148 appearances in all competitions.
