There was a photograph of Mike Vrabel with former NFL reporter Dianna Russini published in Page Six on April 7, 2026. The fallout has been massive.
It was widely speculated that the couple was having an extramarital affair following the publication of the article.
As a result, Vrabel denied that an affair had taken place, stating that the photos appeared to portray an “innocent interaction” and any suggestion to the contrary is unfounded.
After photos emerged showing Vrabel kissing Russini in a bar in 2020, Vrabel announced he was entering counseling on April 22.
In the days and weeks sincethere have been even more photos and videos leaked of the two. Now, the 50-year-old head coach has seen his chances of being the head coach in New England take a massive dip.

Mike Vrabel Being The Head Coach In New England Much Less Likely
Within a few hours of the release of the photos, 77 percent of Kalshi’s users predicted that Vrabel would be the Patriots’ head coach in Week 1. However, that number has decreased significantly since then:
“Five days ago, Kalshi had Mike Vrabel as having a 77-percent chance to be the coach of the Patriots as of Week 1. As of this posting, the number has plummeted to 64 percent,” Pro Football Talk’s Mike Florio reported.
“The Patriots clearly don’t want to lose him. At some point, however, the cascade of reports could make it in everyone’s best interests for Vrabel to step aside for a season, to do whatever is necessary to resolve the situation with his family, and to return with a clean slate next year.”
This situation could become unbearable forRobert Kraft at some point. As great as Vrabel was last year, the owner could make a drastic decision.
