The legal battle involving American football star Stefon Diggs took a new turn yesterday as his former personal chef, Jamila Adams, gave a detailed testimony in court.
Adams, who has accused the NFL player of assault, told a Massachusetts court that the two shared a sexual relationship long before she was officially hired to cook for him. She stated they first met on Instagram four years ago, and their friendship eventually became romantic.
In February 2025, Diggs reportedly hired her for $2,000 a week to live in his home and help him stay healthy. However, Adams claimed that by the end of the year, there was significant drama and fighting within Diggs’ inner circle.
She alleged that a heated argument in December led to a physical fight. Adams told the court she was so scared during the incident that she packed her bags and left for New York immediately.
“I was very scared and left the house that day,” she stated while describing the alleged attack.
However, the defence lawyers showed a video in court of Adams dancing just days after the incident. In the video, there were no visible marks or injuries on her face. Adams also admitted to deleting some text messages before going to the police, explaining she was afraid of how people would judge her.
