Jared Verse makes stunning Rams claim ahead of 2026 season

The Los Angeles Rams were one game away from the Super Bowl last season, with Sean McVay's side one of the best teams in football.

With the corner position a big concern, the Rams went out in free agency and signed Trent McDuffie and Jaylen Watson to fortify the position.

Now, you could make the case that the Rams are locked and loaded for a Super Bowl tilt in 2026.

And for star defensive end Jared Verse, he's rather bullish in his team if they do one thing this upcoming season.

"We keep beating ourselves," said in an interview with DJ Siddiqi. "When you stop beating yourself up, you win, it's easy to win. We have all the pieces we need.

"The only thing that can stop us is ourselves."

Rams NFC favorites?

They are certainly up there, for me anyway.

It is still hard to go past the Seattle Seahawks, but the Rams are right there with their NFC West rivals.

The San Francisco 49ers are also another team to watch, as are the Green Bay Packers and maybe the Philadelphia Eagles.

The Rams, given the offseason additions, have to be one of the favorites for the conference, and it appears that Verse has a similar thought as well, as long as they stop with the self-inflicted wounds.

Once again, the Rams feel poised to be among the NFL's elite in 2026.
