Josh Allen Should Be All Smiles About This Early Bills Projection

The Buffalo Bills fell short of making it to the big game during the 2025-26 season, and that was such a hit that the team parted ways with head coach Sean McDermott after nine seasons.

Now, the Bills are under the guidance of Joe Brady, and lucky for Brady, he has a stellar offense to work with from day one.

Looking at the Bills’ offense, headed up by Josh Allen, it’s already in strong shape heading into the new season. The key here was bringing wide receiver DJ Moore to Buffalo, and his pairing with Allen should make for excellent football in the fall.

In a Wednesday, May 6, piece for Fox Sports, Ben Arthur lists the strongest offenses in the NFL going into the new season.

“There’s still a long way to go before we see real football again,” he notes. “But with the NFL Draft in the books and the majority of the top-tier free agents signed, teams know what the core of their squads will look like in 2026.”

Arthur puts the Bills’ offense at No. 5 and gives them props for the Moore move.

“With Moore in the fold, Josh Allen has a legitimate No. 1 receiver for the first time since Stefon Diggs’ time in Buffalo,” he says. “It raises the ceiling of a Bills offense that ranked fourth in scoring last season.”

My Take: DJ Moore and the Buffalo Bills

Allen should be all smiles heading into the new season, largely because he has Moore by his side. That trade was just one move, but it still took this offense to the next level. If Allen won MVP without having an elite receiver, imagine what he can do now.
