Vikings sign WR Jauan Jennings to one-year deal

The Minnesota Vikings added depth to their receiving corps Thursday, signing wide receiver Jauan Jennings to a one-year deal as they continue to reshape their offense ahead of the 2026 season.

Jennings, 28, fits in well as a physical possession receiver alongside former first-round picks Justin Jefferson and Jordan Addison. Jennings spent his first five NFL seasons with the San Francisco 49ers. His best season was in 2024 when he caught 77 passes for 975 yards. Last season, he finished with nine touchdown catches in 15 games for the 49ers. ESPN reports the contract is $8 million base, with a chance to reach $13 million.

The signing comes after the Vikings lost last year’s number-three receiver Jalen Nailor to the Las Vegas Raiders in free agency.

Jennings entered the NFL as a seventh-round pick out of the University of Tennessee in 2020.
