The Broncos weren’t expected to have much trouble getting their draft picks under contract, and on Thursday, they got four of their draft picks to sign on the dotted line.
Tight ends Dallen Bentley and Justin Joly, inside linebacker Red Murdock and safety Miles Scott all signed their rookie contracts, leaving only running back Jonah Coleman and defensive lineman Tyler Onyedim as yet to officially put their signatures on the dotted line. Given that contracts are set based on draft slots, such negotiations are virtually a formality under the current collective bargaining agreement.

Bentley and Murdock were the final two selections of the draft. Scott was also a seventh-round choice — 10 picks before Bentley — while Joly came aboard in the fifth round after the Broncos moved up to select him.
All are expected to take part in this weekend’s rookie minicamp at Broncos Park Powered By CommonSpirit. The team is expected to formalize its additions of undrafted signees on Friday.
