Chicago Bears sign four rookies, announce Udfa class

LAKE FOREST, Ill., — The next step in the NFL offseason is underway for the Chicago Bears as they are hosting rookie minicamp at Halas Hall on Friday and Saturday. The next two days will give Ben Johnson and his staff their first look at the 2026 NFL Draft class ahead of a very busy next few months.

But before practice begins on Friday, the team announced the signings of four draft picks and 13 undrafted free agents.

Chicago has agreed to deals with rookies Zavion Thomas, Keyshaun Elliott, Jordan van de Berg and Malik Muhammad. They have also signed the following 13 undrafted free agents:

Chicago will hold practices on Friday and Saturday for a roster that features this draft class, undrafted free agents and tryout players. Among the tryout players included is veteran wide receiver Scotty Miller. Wide receiver and 2025 draft pick JP Richardson is also in camp as well. Chicago has a total of 24 rookie tryout players, five veteran tryout players and five first-year players in rookie minicamp.
