Liverpool midfielder Dominik Szoboszlai says all of the Reds stars remain firmly behind Arne Slot after a tricky campaign as Premier League champions.
Heading into this weekend's game against Chelsea at Anfield, Liverpool is still looking to mathematically secure a place in next season's Champions League, though it will get over the line sooner rather than later. A win, in addition to Bournemouth dropping points at Fulham, would get it done ahead of matches with Aston Villa and Brentford.
And when Szoboszlai was asked about the locker room's opinion of the last few months and what needs to change this summer, he immediately shot down any suggestion that Slot isn't the right man.

"That's not a question at all," Szoboszlai told the Daily Mail. "He's our manager and we are in his second season. In his first season, don't forget, we won the Premier League. So no one lost faith in him from our side.
"Rumors come and go but he proved that he’s able to win the Premier League and we proved it as a team, as a staff, as a club that we are able to win the Premier League. So now we just have to keep on working and give it a try next year as well."
Szoboszlai has scored 10 goals and assisted another 13 this season, putting him in the prime position to collect Liverpool's Player of the Season award.

But though he has stepped up and shown what he can do in the final third, things have not gone to plan for the Reds as a whole. They are currently 18 points behind the Premier League leader Arsenal.
"It's not my job to tell you what has gone wrong or what is right," Szoboszlai continued.
"That's why we have a manager, and we have a staff behind him, to find out how we can get out of here and tell the players what we have to do to go in a different way.
"For my individual form, I think last season I was a little bit in the shadow. I did everything for the team, which I do now as well. But last season, I forgot about myself a little bit, and this season I didn't.

"I still do all the same stuff for the team I did last season but now I’m also doing the stuff I’m good at.
"For next season, I don't like to give hopes. I just think about the next three games right now, because that's the most important. We didn't qualify for the Champions League yet, and that's what we have to do on Saturday, hopefully.
"And then from there, if the season is over, we have to think how it goes in the future."

Liverpool.com says: Szoboszlai has proven himself as a top-quality midfielder for the Reds this term. Next year, with Florian Wirtz and co hopefully better placed to perform well around him, that should become even more obvious.
