He has talked about several different NFL topics, but Housmandzadeh is also paying attention to what is occurring in the NBA Playoffs. The Oklahoma City Thunder won Game 2 over the Los Angeles Lakers by a final score of 125-107. Oklahoma City leads Los Angeles 2-0 in the series. There were a lot of people who were complaining about the officiating during that Game 2 of the series. A lot of Lakers players and coaches had some words for the referees as well.

Houshmandzadeh was on the Speakeasy podcast to talk about the NBA officiating during these playoffs. He has not liked what he has seen and said,

“THESE NBA REFEREES ARE GOD AWFUL! THIS IS THE PLAYOFFS!”

The referees are not why the Lakers are down 0-2 in this series. The Thunder are just a better basketball team than Los Angeles is. Oklahoma City is probably going to sweep Los Angeles in this series. The Thunder swept the Phoenix Suns in the first-round of the NBA playoffs. They are built better than everyone else. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander was in foul trouble in Game 2, but this is team is so deep.

As for the Lakers, LeBron James and Austin Reaves can do all they can, but it doesn’t matter. Luka Doncic may not have made a difference in this series for J.J. Reddick. Mark Digenault and his team may go back-to-back this season.
