The Cleveland Browns have signed most of their rookies officially to their contracts.
Emmanuel McNeil-Warren, though, the talented safety from Toledo -- he remains unsigned.
That news was reported Friday by ESPN's Daniel Oyefusi, and it means the Browns still have work to do with the No. 58 overall pick.
Cleveland traded up to get McNeil-Warren after he surprisingly slid out of the first round and even through most of the second.
McNeil-Warren had been projected in many mock drafts to go in the 20s, and even as high as No. 18 to the Minnesota Vikings.
Instead, the Browns got him basically a full round later.
Right now, though, that isn't helping contract negotiations.

Why haven't Browns signed Emmanuel McNeil-Warren?
This is likely about contract guarantees.
"McNeil-Warren is likely a stall in negotiations with second-round picks increasingly getting more of their contracts guaranteed," Oyefusi wrote on X.
This trend has started in the last couple seasons -- second-rounders want most or all of their salary guaranteed, which wasn't how it worked in the past.
There isn't a lot that can be negotiated in these rookie contracts, but guaranteed salary is something the drafted player can hold firm on, and so the Browns and McNeil-Warren seem like they'll have to reach a compromise eventually.
