Brendan Sorsby may be headed toward the NFL's supplemental draft process.
And if that happens, QB-needy teams are expected to be interested -- including the Cleveland Browns.
Sports Illustrated's Albert Breer said on the Rich Eisen Show that the Browns, Jets, Cardinals and Dolphins could be the teams that go after Sorsby in this process.
All four outcomes would have potentially fascinating elements, but the Browns might take the cake.
They'd potentially add Sorsby to a depth chart with Deshaun Watson, Shedeur Sanders, Dillon Gabriel and the newly drafted Taylen Green.
It'd definitely be crowded in Cleveland, and if the Browns went this route, there'd surely be more moves to follow.

Sorsby transferred this offseason from Cincinnati to Texas Tech but is currently under NCAA investigation for gambling trouble.
If the NCAA rules Sorsby ineligible, it would make sense for the NFL QB prospect to enter the supplemental draft. In that process, teams essentially "bid" a future pick -- Breer predicts it could be a second-rounder for Sorsby -- for the right to the player.
Whoever bids the highest lands the supplemental draftee.
The Jets, Browns and Cardinals could all be looking at the stacked 2027 NFL Draft class as a chance to get their quarterback of the future. But maybe one of them, or the Dolphins as insurance with Malik Willis, could view Sorsby as the answer instead.
